Beresford Dale

What is going on? When we booked to stay at the campsite at Upper Hurst Farm near to Hartington I knew that it was near to Beresford Dale. But when I studied the map in order to get there I realised that it was very near to the site that Mum and Dad and I used to visit 50 years ago.

The day after we arrived we set out for a walk and after walking for less than a mile we walked passed the site. It was somewhat different but still recogniseable after all these years. I must say that this brought a lump to my throat to think back all those years, but it does not do to dwell on the past. We live today not yesterday and should enjoy what we are doing now.
